Northern Panhandle Parents as Teachers

Welcome to our website!

The Brooke Hancock Family Resource Network's Parents as Teachers is a free and voluntary program that works with families who have children prenatal to kindergarten entry and who live in Marshall, Brooke, and Hancock counties. Our program offers in-home visits to ensure that children are meeting crucial milestones as well as helping families connect with community resources. We work hand in hand with families to build a strong support system.

What is Parents as Teachers?

Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a FREE In-Home Family Education program. The Parents as Teachers program provided parent education and family support to parents throughout pregnancy until their child enters kindergarten. Parents are supported by certified parent educators through personal in-home visits, group meetings, and community resource and referrals.
